We had an amazing Gen Con this year! The con started on Thursday, and we jumped right into the fun. 

The booth opened up and people were able to shop some of our most popular games and demo Heroscape! 

There were sneak peaks on the booth for Heroscape and G.I. JOE fans! It was awesome to preview our upcoming projects to you all.

We also did a giveaway of a $500 shopping spree! On Sunday, we held a drawing, and the winner was Liberty Wagner. Thank you to everyone who participated and came to the giveaway!

The fun started Thursday, including events for Axis & Allies, Diplomacy, Heroscape, and more, and ran through the whole con. Let's take a look at some highlights.

Heroscape World Championship

Heroscape World Championship Event ran from Thursday to Saturday. A ton of people came to battle it out for the title of World Champion.

Heroscape Sit and Paint

Gamers took a break from all the action to sit and paint some Heroscape miniatures! It was so much fun to see everyone's creativity shine in this great event hosted by Rick Ankney.

Heroscape Bounty Event 

This was our first year hosting the Heroscape Bounty Event! Renegade staff faced off against Heroscapers with superpowered armies. Players claimed special staff Bounty cards and were awarded with a special sticker if they beat the staff's army and claimed the bounty. Congratulations to all the bounty winners, and thank you to everyone who came to play some Heroscape with us!

Diplomacy US Championship Event

Another great event was the US Diplomacy Championship. Hosted by Rogue Judges, players used strategy and wit to navigate this special event. Congratulations to the new US Champion, Gregory Vaughan!

Axis & Allies World Championship

Our partners at Smorey Swamp hosted the Axis & Allies World Championship at Gen Con! After hours of fun, careful deployment, and clever strategy, Gary Blevins emerged as the 2025 Champion. Congratulations to him!

Acquire World Championship Event

Strategic negotiations were abundant at the Acquire World Championship Event, hosted by Rogue Judges. Congratulations to the new Champion, Jeremiah Satterly!

Robo Rally World Championship Event

Robot racing was all the rage at the Robo Rally World Championship hosted by Rogue Judges! We want to congratulate Alex Niemiec, the 2025 World Champion!

Roleplaying Game Events

There were a ton of roleplaying game events happening throughout Gen Con hosted by The Wrecking Crew! Players came together to play RPGs like Welcome to Night Vale, Transformers, Vampire: The Masquerade, G.I. JOE, Werewolf: The Apocalypse, and MORE!

Even MORE Events

There were SO many events happening for our games, it'd be hard to list them all in this recap! There were events for our roleplaying games like Vampire: The Masquerade and Welcome to Night Vale, stategy games like Diplomacy: Era of Empire, and RISK Godstorm, Heroscape events like Vengeance of Valhalla and the All Time Challenge, and SO many more. Thank you to all our wonderful partners who team up with us to make these possible: Rogue Judges, Smorey Swamp, Team Hassenplug, and The Wrecking Crew.

Special Guest Yugin Maffioli

We had a special guest in our Organized Play area, Yugin Maffioli, an incredibly talented artist who works on Heroscape! Thank you to Yugin for hanging out in Hall D with us!

Special Gen Con Announcement

We also had a big announcement this Gen Con. We'll be making games for the beloved book series, Dungeon Crawler Carl! Starting with a roleplaying game, this new game will be coming to a tabletop near you in 2026.
