Phew! What a weekend! Here's what happened at Gen Con...

I'm not exaggerating when I say that Gen Con 2024 was the biggest and best Gen Con yet for Renegade Game Studios! From full tournament halls to creative cosplayers, this was truly the best four days in gaming! Here's a recap of some of the highlights:

Heroscape made it's Gen Con debut this year. We had an amazing time seeing all the fans and had a great time hosting a variety of Heroscape events. This year, the booth was extra special, because we had these giant statues of Loviatak and Raelin which made for some sweet photo ops!

Also at the booth, were these amazing terrain displays. Lee Houff along with the other folks on the Heroscape team were hanging out on the floor answering questions, chat about games, and even run demos right there at the booth!

We also had a Heroscape celebrity sighting! Craig Van Ness, the Heroscape legend, stopped by to say hi and sign some cards!

Craig wasn't the only celebrity we spotted! Shiori paid us a visit and played some Heroscape with us. As you can see, you don't want to mess with her and Scott!

The crown jewel of Heroscape this year, was of course the 20th Anniversary Championship Celebration! This was the biggest Heroscape event ever recorded, and it was a pleasure getting to meet so many folks face to face. Our RPG and Demo Rooms were almost always full throughout the convention. Gamers from all backgrounds and experience levels were able to sign up or drop in for a game or two with our staff!

We also hosted a few roleplaying events that were unlike any other. The Worlds Collide multi-table RPG event combined Power Rangers, Transformers, G.I. JOE, and My Little Pony using the Essence20 Roleplaying System! 

In a similar (yet entirely different) vein, the World of Darkness Crying of Lot 13 LARP event allowed gamers to step into an immersive story experience using props from The Book of Nod Deluxe Artifact Edition.

Roleplayers weren't the only ones thriving! Gamers could be found at any corner of the convention center playing Diplomacy, Axis & Allies, Acquire, Robo Rally & more!

It was a pleasure meeting so many Renegade gamers in person, and I can't wait to see you all again at Gen Con 2025!
