2023 European Continental Championship Details for Vampire: The Masquerade Rivals
Here are the details for the 2023 European Continental Championship. We don’t want to go through all the behind-the-scenes reasoning this happened but we are disappointed that it’s taken so long to get it worked out. Renegade is partnering with Knightly Gaming in Scotland to host the 2023 Rivals EU Conclave. The event will take place on March 23 and 24.
You can get tickets HERE!
This event will not replace the 2024 European Continental Championship. That event will take place in the summer of 2024. The venue and exact dates will be announced in early 2024 as well as the dates and location for the first Australian Continental Championship. The Rivals 2024 North American Continental Championship will be held at Gen Con (August 1 - 4) in Indianapolis, IN.
Look for more Prince of the City announcements in early 2024 as well as how your local gaming store can host a Clan Clash event!

Conclave Championship
Structure: The Conclave Championship will take place over both days of the weekend. Three rounds
on Saturday will determine the Top 16, with the Top 16 and Final Four games occurring on Sunday.
The exact number of rounds may change, however, and is subject to final player count.
Capacity: 64
Rules and Legality: Unless otherwise stated here, standard tournament rules will apply and
can be found here: https://www.vampirecardgame.com/organized-play.
All sets released and erratas declared by the 29th of February 2024 will be legal. All promotional
cards released by February 29th will be legal, with the following exceptions:
● Annabelle (34)
This list is subject to change on an individual card-by-card basis and any changes will be announced here by February 29th. We encourage any players with questions or concerns about card legality to contact us.
Prizes:
● Participation: Acrylic Agendas and Havens & Qualification for Archonship
● Top 36: EU Conclave Playmat
● Top 8: Rival Allocation Tokens
● Top 4: EU Conclave Finalist Deck Box
● Champion: Championship Playmat & Trophy
Archonship: In addition to the prizes detailed above, one player per clan will have the opportunity to become an Archon. All players will be grouped into the clan of the Leader specified on their decklist. Once the Top 16 are determined, each player with the highest tournament score among their group will be declared "best in clan", receiving the title of Archon and a unique clan-themed token bag.
Two-Player (1v1) Tournament
Structure: This tournament will be hosted on Saturday the 23rd, following the Conclave Championship. It will comprise four rounds of two-player games, three rounds of Swiss and a final Top Two. Each round has a time limit of 35 minutes.
Capacity: 24
Rules and Legality: This tournament's rules and legality are identical to those of the Conclave Championship. However, the following card(s) are not legal for use in Two-Player decks:

● Participation: Acrylic Agendas and Havens
● Top 6: Agenda Tokens

Seneschal of the City Tournament
Structure: This tournament will be hosted on Saturday the 23rd, following the Two-Player Tournament. It comprises three rounds of four-player games, with each round lasting 60 minutes.

Rules and Legality: This tournament's rules and legality are identical to those of the Conclave Championship, with a significant change in how a winner is determined. When a player would normally win the game (through knock-out, Agenda, or otherwise) they instead gain 4 Prestige. After setting each eliminated player’s Agenda and Prestige to 0, compare Prestige totals to determine the winner (resolving ties normally).
Prizes:
● Participation: Acrylic Agendas & Havens
● Top 6: “Harpy” Token Bag
● Champion: Seneschal of the City Playmat

“Best of”: Once the tournament is concluded, the Keepers of San Francisco, Prague, and Rio de Janeiro will also be declared. This is done by identifying which player won the most Tournament Points each round, excluding the tournament’s Champion, and breaking ties through overall Strength of Schedule.
Prizes:
● Participation: Acrylic Agendas and Havens
● Best of San Francisco: "Keeper of San Francisco" Token Bag
● Best of Prague: "Keeper of Prague" Token Bag
